“Encounter with Fashion”
The bound school chairs represent the constraints of Japanese education, while the floating feeling represents the students who begin to wear their uniforms in a sloppy way encountering with fashion.
In Japanese, “Shibari” simply means “to tie.”
The contemporary meaning of Shibari describes an ancient Japanese artistic form of rope bondage.
